Network Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Network Engineer to work at our end-customers' site. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining customers' network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security. This role requires a strong understanding of networking protocols, systems administration, and network security measures. The successful applicant will work collaboratively with other IT professionals to support and enhance overall network efficiency., * Resolving Escalated tickets on Support issues

• Configure and manage firewalls to protect the network from external threats.
• Provide comprehensive network support for both WAN and LAN environments.
• Implement Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions to enhance security.
• Manage Cisco ASA firewalls and ensure robust network security measures are in place.
• Oversee telecommunication systems and ensure seamless connectivity.
• Manage Cisco routers and switches to maintain high availability of network services.
• Implement IPsec for secure site-to-site communications.
• Support cloud-based networking solutions using Azure and AWS platforms.
• Ensure proper functioning of SAN systems within the network infrastructure.
• Engage in system administration tasks across various operating systems
• Ensure compliance with ITIL best practices in all aspects of network management.
• Vendor Escalation and Change Management
• Participating in On-call rota

Ssh, Vmware, Https, Ftp, Service Delivery, Communication Skills, Voip, Analytical Skills, Citrix, * Proven experience in network engineering with a strong understanding of computer networking principles.

• Proficiency in configuring and managing network protocols including TCP/IP, HTTPS, FTP, SFTP, SSH, and VoIP technologies.
• Familiarity with virtualisation technologies such as VMware and Citrix is advantageous.
• Experience in using different network tools.
• Knowledge of high availability configurations to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated to complete tasks independently.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex networking issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
