An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Engineer in the Airframe Wing Research and Technology team at Airbus Filton. The successful candidate will be working on Airbus' flagship sustainable aircraft project; ZEROe, which is aiming to certify a hydrogen powered aircraft for entry into service in the 2040's.
Requirements
- Studying towards a degree in Mechanical, Aerospace and Aeronautical Engineering;
- Strong interest in design engineering from initial concept through to detail design;
- Curiosity, creativity and open mindedness;
- Ability to listen, understand and communicate information;
- Desire to openly collaborate in a diverse team environment;
- Strong commitment to develop yourself.
SECURITY CLEARANCE: You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. You may also need to gain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role.
