The Role This isn't just another Senior Data Scientist role. You'll be hands-on, strategic, and empowered to bring fresh ideas to the table. What You'll Be Doing Joining our Data Science & Optimisation team, you'll work at the heart of our platform, designing and deploying machine learning models that drive forecasting, pricing, and yield optimisation. You'll be empowered to influence product strategy, introduce innovative modelling approaches, and champion data-driven thinking across the organisation. Build forecasting models to predict supply and demand and integrate with Optimization engine using time series and ML techniques Develop pricing algorithms and models to help media owners maximise profit and manage yield Build the in-house generative AI tool using LLM models to enable efficiency, automation and smart operations Partner with Product to design, build, and integrate new data products into VIOOH's platform. Involve with product strategy and roadmap settings Maintain and scale optimisation engine across multiple markets and products Conduct ad hoc analysis and research to support strategic business decisions Serve as a mentor and technical guide for junior team members, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development Continuously explore and adopt new modelling techniques, tools, and research to enhance our platform's intelligence. Champion ML/AI best practices and serve as a subject-matter expert across teams
Requirements
You're not afraid to roll up your sleeves, challenge the norm, and dive into the details. You're hungry to learn, you value people, and you thrive in an environment where change is constant, and impact is everything. We're looking for someone who has: 5+ years of industry experience in Data Science, with hands-on work in areas like modeling, analytics, A/B testing, causal inference, or related areas. Experience building end-to-end machine learning models for real-world business applications. Advanced degree (PhD preferred, or Master's with 5+ years of experience) in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field. Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience across the full data processing. Communicates clearly, confidently, and with purposes. Able to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Self-motivated and adaptable; thrives in a fast-moving, collaborative environment; extreme attention to details. We don't require more, but it would be a plus if you have: Experience in AdTech, Media, eCommerse, or related industries. Experience in cloud data platform (e.g. Snowflake) and cloud services (e.g. AWS) Exposure to operations research and optimization algorithms (e.g., linear programming, integer programming). Exposure to large language models (LLMs), generative AI, or deep learning. Experience in professional software development. Prior client-facing or consulting experience. Record of academic publications or patents.
