Covalent Systems is a leading Channel Partner of IFS. We're growing fast and looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our UK-based Consulting Team, supporting clients through high-impact ERP transformations. This role reports directly to the Consulting Manager., Project Planning & Delivery
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
- Manage end-to-end project delivery across the full lifecycle of IFS Applications.
Stakeholder & Team Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, internal teams, and delivery partners.
- Work closely with Team Leads, Functional and Technical Consultants, and customers to establish project plans.
- Lead project meetings, provide progress updates, and deliver executive reports.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and build strong, collaborative relationships.
Risk, Budget & Quality Management
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
- Manage project budgets and resources to ensure optimal efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to Covalent Systems' project governance and quality assurance standards.
Go-Live & Post-Implementation
- Lead cutover planning, go-live coordination, and post-implementation support.
- Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement across future projects.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Project management?, You will lead and manage the full lifecycle of IFS-related projects-including implementations, upgrades, and enhancements-across diverse industries. The position requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams to ensure successful delivery within scope, timelines, and budget., * 5+ years' experience managing ERP implementation projects.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working with IFS Applications (IFS Cloud or earlier versions) or Similar ERP systems.
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of business processes in Finance, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Projects, and Supply Chain.
- Solid grasp of software systems - with a strong top-level understanding rather than deep technical detail.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Formal project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or AgilePM).
- Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Azure DevOps, or Smartsheet.
