Job description
We're on a mission to rethink recycling the AO Way, and we're looking for a curious, hands-on IT Generalist to help us make smart moves and support our growing tech needs- and we need someone who's been there, done that, and is ready to do it even better. If you love solving problems, embracing change, being part of a supportive team, and playing a critical role in supporting locally delivered IT solutions we'd love to hear from you!
We're looking for a hands-on, experienced IT Generalist with a strong track record in delivering smart, practical tech solutions! You'll need to be confident with SQL and Reporting Services, ready to dive into data, build reports, and help drive smart decisions. A good grasp of networking and enterprise systems is a bonus, and you'll work closely with third-party developers and our Group IT team to bring great ideas to life.
This role is packed with potential! You'll have the chance to grow into a Project Manager or fully-fledged Business Analyst - taking on bigger projects, leading timelines, and making sure everything runs smoothly and aligns with business goals. It's a great step, if you're ready to level up! We are committed to supporting your career development and will provide the necessary mentorship and training to help you grow into a leadership position within the IT function.

AO is for everyone!
We should all feel that we belong. That's why we are creating a welcoming and inclusive place to work.
We're proud to be different. From how we look to the way we talk to our customers, we skip to the beat of our very own drum. We know that being different together is our superpower and we celebrate it because it makes us stronger, more creative, and better at what we do.
We believe the people we employ should reflect the diversity of our customer base; that way, we can communicate in a way that recognises all backgrounds, races, ethnicities, genders, ages, religions, abilities, and sexual orientations.
And that's why we're asking these questions. Making sure our recruitment process is inclusive is a key part of what we're doing at AO to encourage diversity as an employer. Read more
