Job description
As an Anaplan Solutions Architect, you will work as a trusted advisor to CFOs, COOs, CIOs, and key executives. You will help clients develop strategies and capabilities to support enterprise-wide decision-making, improve finance operations, and create measurable impact. In this role, you will be part of a team that delivers finance and operational transformation through Anaplan-based solutions., * Lead complex FP&A and Supply Chain projects by managing high-performing teams, facilitating senior client meetings and workshops, assessing engagement risks, and delivering actionable conclusions.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to capture data requirements and calculation logic, translating them into user stories and robust Anaplan model designs.
- Design and build Anaplan models, including prototypes, product releases, testing, and seamless data integration.
- Develop intuitive dashboards, visualizations, and advanced analytical solutions to drive business insights.
- Deliver training, enable knowledge transfer, and provide post go-live support to ensure client success.
- Foster innovation by introducing new planning approaches, delivery models, and technological advancements.
- Ensure quality assurance, monitor risks, and manage teams and third-party vendors while coordinating with service line and functional specialists.
- Build strong internal networks, cultivate client relationships, and drive account growth.
- Lead business development initiatives, identify opportunities, and support proposal creation and delivery of high-quality bids.
- Enhance practice capabilities by sharing expertise, developing solutions, engagement tools, and accelerators.
- Mentor and train junior team members, supporting both client delivery and business development efforts.
- Promote team development and technical excellence through inclusive behaviours and a high-performance culture.
- Stay current with industry trends to identify new business opportunities and innovative solutions.
- Participate in RFIs, RFPs, and presales pitches to secure new engagements.
Requirements
- Extensive experience leading multi-dimensional model development on the Anaplan platform, including configuring existing models, adding new functionality, and optimizing modeling solutions for performance and scalability.
- Proven track record as the solution architecture lead for mid-sized and large-scale planning implementations.
- High proficiency in translating complex business data requirements into models that deliver actionable insights.
- Strong understanding of Financial, Supply Chain, and Sales planning domains.
- Ability to apply planning principles to data integration, analysis, and solution development across multiple business areas.
- Demonstrated capability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies, software, and methodologies, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experienced in guiding teams through ambiguity and uncertainty in dynamic project environments.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt communication style to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
- Certified Anaplan Solution Architect or Master Anaplanner credentials.
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
- Good understanding of agile project methodology.
