Web Designer

We are seeking a talented and creative Web Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing engaging, user-friendly websites that align with our brand identity and business objectives. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative digital solutions, ensuring optimal user experience, and maintaining website performance. The successful applicant will possess a strong foundation in both graphic and web design, with a keen eye for detail and usability., * Develop visually appealing website layouts using tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe XD, and Figma.

• Create wireframes and prototypes employing Axure, Balsamiq, InVision, and Visio to illustrate design concepts effectively.
• Implement responsive web designs using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, SCSS, Less (style sheet language), and front-end frameworks like React, Angular, and Vue.js.
• Enhance website functionality through front-end development skills in JavaScript, AJAX, Node.js, Redux, and PHP.
• Optimise websites for search engines (SEO) by applying best practices in content structuring and technical optimisation.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to improve user experience (UX) and information architecture.
• Maintain existing websites via content management systems such as WordPress and Drupal while ensuring website security and performance.
• Analyse website traffic using Google Analytics to inform design improvements and optimise user engagement strategies like email marketing campaigns with Mailchimp.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless integration of design elements into functional websites.
• Keep abreast of the latest trends in digital design, interaction design, UI/UX principles, and web development technologies.

Do you have experience in WordPress?, * Proven experience in digital design, interaction design, UI/UX principles, and front-end development.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects), Adobe XD, Figma, Axure, Balsamiq, InVision, Visio.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 (including SCSS/Less), JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular, AJAX, Node.js, PHP, SQL/MySQL databases.
• Experience working with content management systems like WordPress or Drupal.
• Familiarity with responsive web design techniques to ensure compatibility across devices.
• Ability to conduct user research and usability testing to enhance user experience.
• Knowledge of analytics tools such as Google Analytics for data-driven decision making.
• Excellent graphic design skills complemented by experience in wireframing and information architecture planning.
