Job description

We are embedding agility in our ways of working, building capability for a digital SSE of the future, meeting the needs of our customers in a different way. SSE IT is building its Agile capability and continues to increase the proportion of its delivery which utilises Agile methodology and tools. As a result, those in Delivery and Portfolio Management roles need to have Agile experience and demonstrate an interest in championing it across the business.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Data, Quality and DevOps Portfolio Co-ordinator to oversee and manage the delivery of data and reporting initiatives across the organisation. This role will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, data teams, and technical delivery, ensuring alignment, transparency, and timely execution of reporting and data initiatives.

You Will

  • Maintain and optimise Azure DevOps boards for tracking work items, sprints, and delivery milestones.
  • Data analytics using Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) to enable Data Visualisation for Executives
  • Support governance processes including data quality, metadata management, and reporting standards.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track portfolio performance and KPIs.
  • Champion best practices in agile delivery, DevOps, and citizen development using Power Platform.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Project coordination?, * Strong experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps for work item tracking, pipelines, and release management.

  • Proficient in Power Platform tools, especially Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
  • Solid understanding of data lifecycle, reporting frameworks, and governance principles.
  • Experience in coordinating multiple projects or workstreams in a data or reporting environment.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and vice versa.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and delivery practices.
