Job description

  • Provide first-line technical support to end-users via face-to-face contact, phone, and email.
  • Install, configure, purchase, and maintain desktop and laptop PCs.
  • Troubleshoot and support telephony systems, audio-visual equipment, projectors, and video-conference facilities.
  • Manage and resolve IT issues, incidents, service requests, and changes through the helpdesk system.
  • Conduct audits to ensure all software is authorised, licensed, and compliant with standards.
  • Maintain accurate inventories of IT hardware and software.
  • Liaise with third-party IT support providers and vendors when required.
  • Support additional office locations as needed and perform general IT administration tasks.
  • Follow defined IT standards, security requirements, and procedures., * Strong background supporting Windows-based PCs and servers, including Windows Desktop (Enterprise).

Requirements

Do you have experience in iOS?, * Proficiency with MS Office, Microsoft products, and Google G-Suite.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of network fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Experience using ticketing systems and familiarity with ITIL best practices.
  • Ability to deliver clear technical support to non-technical users with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Desirable: Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, firewalls (Checkpoint, Palo Alto), networking, telephony, IT security, VMware virtualisation, MDM platforms, and mobile device support (iOS & Android).
  • IT qualifications such as CompTIA A+ or MCSE; experience in a technical support environment.
  • Eligibility for DBS and SC clearance., * Do you have previous experience within technical support?
