Job description
The I.T. Analyst plays a vital role ensuring that systems and infrastructure align with business goals and deliver value. This role takes the lead in the development, implementation and maintenance of technology solutions that drive efficiency and innovation. Reporting to the Head of Systems & Technology, the suitable candidate will be expected to carry out the following principal responsibilities and duties:
· Managing and overseeing the technology operations "service delivery", including infrastructure, servers, networks, applications and security.
· Overseeing the deployment, monitoring, maintenance and upgrading of technology systems and/or hardware.
· Ensuring the security of technology systems and data protection, including compliance with relevant laws, regulations and policies.
· Coordinating with other departments to identify technology needs and integrating technology solutions to enhance productivity.
· Conducting research on emerging technologies and assessing their potential impact on the organisation's goals.
· Establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors and negotiating contracts for technology acquisitions and services.
· Developing and enforcing technology policies, procedures and best practices.
· Planning for technology crisis situations and ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
· Reporting on technology performance metrics and demonstrating the value of technology investments to stakeholders.
· Mentoring technical colleagues, fostering a collaborative environment and facilitating professional development.
· Undertake training as required.
Requirements
Do you have experience in SQL?, An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic person with strong organisational skills and a keen interest in I.T. to join an expanding Systems & Technology Department., · Be able to build strong working relationships with immediate team members and all levels of management within the business.
· Have strong working knowledge and experience of Microsoft systems, such as Azure, AD and SQL.
· Be proficient with all common Microsoft 365 applications.
· Have a good understanding of networking and infrastructure.
· Have strong communication skills, both verbal and written
· Have strong level of self-motivation and initiative.
· Have the ability to work well in a team.
· Have a desire to learn, adapt quickly and be flexible.
· Have strong organisational and documenting skills.
· Project management/coordination skills are desirable.
· Minimum of 3 years' experience.

Schedule
· Core hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5.30pm.
· Occasional weekends or "Out-of-hours" work may be required (i.e. for core system upgrades).
· Availability for overseas travel to other sites.
