Junior Design Engineer

• Assist in the development and realisation of system designs using mostly 2D CAD software.
• Support the creation of detailed technical drawings and schematics for manufacturing processes.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues within existing systems and propose effective solutions.
• Collaborate with Project managers to develop and optimise efficiency in the Pre-construction to construction handover.
• Liase with clients to understand their needs.
• Aid in the integration of Mechanical & Electrical factors into the design process.
• Assist in troubleshooting technical problems by analysing schematics, system diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Participate in team meetings to support project planning, progress updates, and technical reviews.
• Effectively interpret client technical document and requirements into specifications to be distributed for tender process.

Do you have experience in System design?, We are seeking a motivated Junior Designer to join our Construction company. Working primarily in the food industry we primarily undertake complex refurbishment projects within existing food production facilities, alongside new build and extensions., * A recognised qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

• Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks or similar tools is highly desirable.
• Basic understanding of system design principles and schematic interpretation.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis effectively within complex systems.
• Good organisational skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
• Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and developing technical expertise in engineering design. This role provides a platform for aspiring engineers to grow their skills within a supportive environment dedicated to innovation and excellence in engineering design.
