BI Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing complex data sets, developing insightful reports, and supporting strategic decision-making processes across the organisation. • Analyse large datasets from various sources including Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and utilise SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Design and implement database solutions, including database design and management, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Conduct comprehensive business analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project management activities throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Utilise programming languages such as R, Python, VBA, and Bash (Unix shell) for data processing, automation, and advanced analytics.
• Create detailed process diagrams and documentation using Visio to support system design and process optimisation.
• Support ongoing projects by providing analysis skills that enable informed decision-making aligned with organisational goals.

Do you have experience in Visio?, * Proven experience in a Business Intelligence or Data Analyst role within a corporate environment.

• Extensive knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
• Strong proficiency in SQL with experience working with Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server or similar databases.
• Demonstrable experience with programming languages including R, Python, VBA, and Bash (Unix shell).
• Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies and project management principles.
• Experience in business analysis including requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement.
• Familiarity with database design principles and data modelling techniques.
