Job description

Currently, in the Robotics Department, we are looking for aSystem Engineerat our Technology Center inCornellà de Llobregat.

What will your main responsibilities be?

  • Lead challenging and innovative projects associated with automated system solutions such as AMR, Conveyor Systems, Robotic Systems and Storage Systems.
  • Take the ownership as lead engineer of new product development (NPD), including system design, components selection, testing and data analysis. Work with team members to manage the project plan.
  • Execute V-model activities such as system requirements definition, system design, system verification and validation. Ensure non-functional requirements such as performance, reliability, security, and serviceability are covered.
  • Define Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and derive reliability requirements fromthis analysis.
  • Define strategy for verification and validation including use of simulators, emulators, andphysical testing.

Requirements

  • University Degree in industrial engineering, mechatronics or a related discipline.
  • At least 7-10 years of professional engineering experience, preferably in automation, machine building, automotive or aerospace industries. Full cycle V-model systems engineering experience in systems involving mix of hardware and software.
  • Experience with reliability engineering techniques such as FMEA and reliability growth testing. Strong analytical and conceptual skills and high goal-oriented approach.
  • Excellent command of Spanish and English.
