Job description

Data Science for Pharmacy Automation is a young team of data professionals within a well-established global company.

Our goal is to enhance existing products with AI, build scalable and functional services, and explore new opportunities where data can help build new products.

We are doing that by bringing together curious people with inventive minds and diverse experience and letting them build tailored solutions in an agile way., * design and implement Machine Learning solutions

  • create robust data pipelines and ML workflows in cloud
  • collect and curate training and validation datasets for Computer Vision
  • monitor, analyze, and maintain ML models in production
  • collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements

Requirements

We expect that you:

  • have significant professional experience in data analytics and developing statistical or ML solutions
  • are fluent in Python and respect software engineering principles of your choice (KISS, DRY, etc.)
  • use Git for code versioning
  • use Docker and/or virtual environments for local development
  • know your way around SQL for data exploration
  • feel comfortable explaining complex things in simple terms
  • know the right balance between solving the initial problem and running never-ending research

Would be nice if you:

  • have experience with Computer Vision models in production
  • are comfortable with the tools for orchestrating data pipelines and ML workflows
  • have hands-on experience with vision systems and/or robotics hardware
  • are familiar with cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • know your way around "big data" processing
  • are familiar with MLOps and CI/CD principles

Education and experience:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field and/or years of experience
  • 3+ years of professional hands-on experience in data science or ML roles

Benefits & conditions

According to the collective bargain agreement the minimum annual salary for this position is EUR 52,136 p.a. (IT KV, ST1, Regelstufe). Based on individual skills and experience, we offer appropriate additional payment.
