Job description

You will lead the Estates & Facilities team, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and continuous improvement across all services. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Asset & Data Management:
  • Oversee BEM Asset Management and condition appraisal processes.
  • Manage SFG20 maintenance specifications and CAFM data.
  • Ensure accurate annual data collection for Premises Assurance Model (PAM).
  • Produce board-level and compliance reports.
  • Governance & Compliance:
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and accountability frameworks for data and information exchange.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory, health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Leadership & Performance:
  • Manage directly employed and contracted maintenance providers.
  • Implement performance management processes and promote Trust values of Safe, Kind, Excellent.
  • Drive staff development, training, and annual appraisals.
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Plan and deliver PPM schedules and reactive maintenance.
  • Monitor service performance against SLAs and KPIs.
  • Conduct audits and reviews to drive continuous improvement.
  • Risk & Reporting:
  • Lead on risk register issues, translating technical risks for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Provide clear, concise reports for internal and external audiences.
  • Customer & Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Maintain strong communication networks and relationships with Directors, Operations Managers, and patient forums.
  • Ensure robust customer satisfaction monitoring and feedback processes.

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Senior Estates & Facilities Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in the development, management, and operation of Estates and Facilities services. This is a senior leadership position requiring strong technical expertise, strategic thinking, and exceptional people management skills., * Proven experience in Estates & Facilities management within a complex environment (preferably healthcare or large-scale operations).

  • Strong knowledge of building engineering systems, maintenance strategies, and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets, SLAs, and deliver cost-effective services.
  • Familiarity with CAFM systems, SFG20, and PAM assurance processes
