Job description

  • Manage the shared DPO mailbox and coordinate data right requests in line with statutory timeframes.
  • Support the Junior Business Partner - Information Governance to respond to data security incidents and promote data protection awareness across NCG.
  • Assist in the implementation of the records retention schedule and coordinate reviews for secure storage and disposal.
  • Maintain compliance trackers and shared drives to support audit and governance requirements.
  • Provide administrative support for audit meetings, document management, and day-to-day team operations.

Please note that prior experience and knowledge in information governance, assurance, or data protection is not required.

This role offers hybrid working arrangements, working two days a week in the office based in Newcastle (Rye Hill House).
