Job description
- Responsible for front line support activities, predominantly resolving tier-3 level requests through deployment and commercial operations
- Lead and instruct customers in basic procedures and basic support resolution
- Support customers in the removal, installation and upgrade of core software solutions
- Implement and suggest procedural improvements.
- Plan, design, develop, manage, document, test, deploy, and support new and existing customer facing procedures
- Plan, build and execute test scenarios to replicate customer network environments and problems
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a commercial customer support environment, successfully resolving trouble ticket enquiries to tier-3 level
- 2+ years of experience of working with 4G or 5G Mobile Core network technologies; knowledge of 3GPP network layer protocols, analysing call flows, use of network analysis tools like Wireshark etc.
- Ability to analyse call traces of some or all of: ngap, s1ap, SIP, GTP, SCTP, Diameter, TCP, UDP, ICMP, IPv4, IPv6 and ARP.
- Linux systems experience of managing and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, network troubleshooting etc.
- Experience of testing software desirable.
- Experience and knowledge of software development lifecycles beneficial.
