Job description
The Global Could Engineer is responsible to deploy new cloud solutions and assist with project delivery.
The position has responsibilities to participating of running projects to expand current systems or deploy new systems or cloud infrastructure.
A critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud infrastructure to support business operations and innovation.
The individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cloud solutions align with organizational goals and deliver measurable value., * Develop comprehensive reports, technical documentation, and user guides, while ensuring team members and stakeholders are fully trained and equipped to follow established procedures
- Drive timely and high-quality service delivery to clients, ensuring alignment with project milestones and expectations
- Effectively manage and resolve incidents and service requests, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal user satisfaction
- Evaluate new or innovative technologies and architectures
- Lead feasibility assessments and proof-of-concept initiatives for prospective software solutions, guiding strategic decision-making in technology acquisitions
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Cloud Build Manager, contributing flexibly to evolving project needs
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in cloud infrastructure, providing advanced insights into cloud services and emerging technologies

- Support TechnipFMC in driving cloud transformation initiatives, including strategic workload migration and optimization within cloud environments
Requirements
Knowledge of automation and serverless applications on Azure and AWS platforms
Proficient in web application development using JavaScript and TypeScript
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions
Familiarity with cost optimization strategies in cloud platforms
Proficient in hybrid infrastructure models, with hands-on knowledge of both cloud and on-premises solutions
Containerization & orchestration within AWS leveraging your understanding and knowledge of Kubernetes, Amazon EKS and distributed engineering applications.
Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform as well as pipeline tools like GitHub Actions.
Highly efficient and solutions-oriented, with a strong focus on security, standardization, and process optimization
Proficient in cloud infrastructure with hands-on experience in Azure and AWS environments
Proven, demonstratable and evidence-backed experience developing and scripting with PowerShell.
Skilled in designing, implementing, and maintaining IT systems and infrastructure to support business services
Understanding of CI/CD development cycle, usage of distributed version control and collaboration tools, such as GitHub Enterprise.
