Job description
As a Big Data System Engineer (Platform Engineer), you will make an impact by designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable big data platforms. You will be a valued member of the data engineering team and work collaboratively with architects, developers, and business stakeholders. In this role, you will:
- Design and implement big data infrastructure and platform solutions.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of data systems.
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to optimize data workflows.
- Monitor and troubleshoot platform performance and reliability.
- Automate deployment and maintenance tasks using DevOps practices.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Spark?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong experience with Hadoop ecosystem, Spark, and distributed systems.
- Proficiency in Linux, scripting languages, and automation tools.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
These will help you stand out
- Experience with real-time data processing frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
- Knowledge of security best practices for big data environments.
- Exposure to machine learning workflows.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
