Your prospective job:

You are acting as a Simulation DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) for our client Airbus Defence and Space in Manching.

Your responsibilities:

• Define and develop DevOps solutions and tools for our IT Infrastructure as well as various Software Development Environments
• Setup and maintain Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) Pipelines
• Consult and support our various software development teams to boost their development processes and operations to higher efficiency by applying CI/CD principles and means

• Master degree in computer science or comparable
• Professional work experience in the field of DevOps and CI/CD Automation Development and with modern Software Development and/or the operation and design of Enterprise-level IT Infrastructure and Tools applying IaC pricniples
• Expertise in several related fields (e.g. automation, deployment, containers, virtualization, distributed storage)
• Experience in one or more Scripting / programming languages (Python, Ansible, Bash, C, Go) and in Solid Multi-Distro Linux
• Experience with dynamic Povisioning and Immutable Systems is an advantage
• Experience in Jenkins, gitlab, Git, Nexus, Artifactory, Ansible, Puppet, OPSI, conan, Terraform, Packer, Vault, Proxmox, KVM, Docker, Kubernetes, Ceph, ZFS or Samba is an advantage
