At cozycozy, we're building the world's best accommodation metasearch platform making travel simple, transparent, and inspiring. We already process millions of searches, and we're growing fast. To keep up, we're looking for a Lead Frontend Engineer to shape the next generation of our web platform to make it faster, iterative, with an eye for user experience & design. To own the frontend architecture and help us deliver new, high-impact features that make travel discovery effortless., You'll join our engineering team and own the frontend architecture to lead the evolution of our UI. Your work will define how millions of travelers experience cozycozy, from the very first search to booking the perfect stay.
In this role, you will:

Own the frontend architecture and keep our Angular platform stable, modular, and high-performing.

Lead the development of new user-facing features, some of which will be built in React (starting from greenfield projects driven by our product lab).

Collaborate with product and design to implement clean, accessible, and responsive UIs.

Experiment quickly to ship and test new interfaces, personalization features, and search experiences.

Have the opportunity to mentor and guide, setting coding standards and best practices.

Raise the bar for performance and UX, making sure every millisecond counts in search.

Lead frontend initiatives, shaping architecture and high-impact features across projects. This is a role for someone who thrives on ownership, wants to shape the future of cozycozy's UI, and loves balancing stability with innovation., You will work closely with founders and fellow engineers in impact-led small teams.
Requirements
Do you have experience in gRPC?, Do you have a Master's degree?, You're a builder who cares as much about how the platform experience is as much as how it's working and
functioning. You enjoy working close to product and design, and you enjoy mentoring others while staying hands-on.
You might be a great fit if you have:
- 6+ years of frontend or full-stack experience (frontend-focused), with 2+ years leading projects or
mentoring
- Strong TypeScript skills and experience with Angular & RxJS
- A track record building scalable, performant web apps with clean architecture
- Experience integrating REST/gRPC APIs and handling complex state management
- Familiarity with data layers & GTM for analytics/marketing
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, DOM APIs, and responsive web design
- Motivation to be in an international (English speaking) work environment
- A product mindset as you think about the traveler experience, not just the code
It's a bonus if you:
- Have worked with React and are excited to help us build new interfaces with it
- Have experience with high-traffic, data-rich apps (search, e-commerce, marketplaces)
