Job description
to take part in one of our development teams, which are multidisciplinary and self-organizing Agile/Scrum team. In addition to software development, our teams are fully responsible for various aspects, such as requirements analysis, architecture, design, testing, validation and product demonstrations. The use of high-tech techniques and software development methods is important. The software of the Fire Control System is based both on Java and C++ and is supported by a modern development environment. Especially the area of the Missile domain is based on the C++ technology stack.
As a (senior) software engineer you are working with the other engineers on your agile team and the other agile teams in the same sub-domain. You work on designs and architecture with our software and system architects, and take into account security and safety aspects in your code and that of your team.
You will work (among others) with the following tools and techniques:
- Agile/Scrum software development
- C++, CMake, real-time software development
- Continuous Integration & Delivery
- Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, GIT, BitBucket
- Unit Testing (Google-Test), Test Automation, Cucumber
- MatLab, SimuLink (is a plus)
Requirements
- Is passionate about technology;
- Is a team-player;
- Wants to contribute to a safe and secure society;
- Graduated at least Bachelor level in the area of software engineering or similar with a talent for C++;
- Finds pleasure in rapidly mastering new domains and techniques;
- At least 5 years of recent, relevant professional experience in C++ development;
- Dutch nationality.
