Job description
As Rhino continue to push forward in these unique times, boosted by significant investment from private equity firm LDC, we are entering another exciting chapter of growth - this role is to provide support to the design engineers in the technical department and to produce 3D models, detail drawings of components for manufacture, modify and manage current designs and to create fitting instructions.
Main Purpose of Role
- Day to day compliance with drawing system, ensuring drawings are accurate and conform to the required customers specifications
- Produce 3D designs using Solidworks
- Produce high quality detailed drawings of designs to BS8888 and manage any changes
- Have a good understanding of the materials being utilised
- Effectively utilise the companies MRP systems
- Assist with any production issues that may arise
- Liaise with other internal departments, including the shop floor
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving Licence license?, Do you have experience in Time management?, Do you have a Certificate of higher education?, * You will have a genuine passion and flare for Design
- You are highly organised with excellent time management skills and a strong work ethic
- You communicate enthusiastically and able to build positive relationships, Educated to HNC level or above in Industrial Design/Product Design or an Engineering Degree with knowledge of SolidWorks. Valid UK driving licence is required, * Certificate of Higher Education (preferred), * Graphic design: 1 year (preferred)
