Job description
I am working with a consultancy feeding into the public sector looking for a Java Tech Lead to join on a 1 year contract. BPSS (SC preferred/ SC eligible)Newcastle beneficial but not essential (1x a week initially, then onsite for team exercises)Inside IR35Essential technical skills:
- Java/Spring
- NodeJS / Express / NextJS
- CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab CI)
- Mongo NoSQL databases
- TDD + Unit testing
- AWS Cloud Technologies (SQS/SNS/ECS/Lambda/KMS)
- Apache Kafka
- Docker/Containerization

- IaC (Terraform)
