Job description
You will serve as a technical leader, primary front-end authority, and central communication point for client engineering stakeholders, driving architectural direction, ensuring delivery excellence, and guiding a team through an ongoing large-scale modernization effort., * Front end built using a micro-frontend architecture, allowing modules to be developed with different frameworks.
- Core UI currently relies heavily on Angular, with React modules in parallel development.
- Client-server communication includes: REST APIs, GraphQL, SignalR
- Backend: .NET 8 monolith and related services, Entity Framework Core, MSSQL
- Hosted in Microsoft Azure
The platform is entering a major architectural and UI redesign, requiring strong leadership in both hands-on development and technical planning., * Architect front-end solutions for complex, enterprise-grade systems using Angular and React.
- Take ownership of development quality, velocity, and delivery success.
- Be the primary interface with client representatives, helping shape future platform direction.
- Perform impact analysis and classify changes as breaking / non-breaking.
- Write high-performance, maintainable, production-grade code.
- Conduct thorough and constructive code reviews.
- Evaluate, define, and enforce engineering best practices and coding standards.
- Introduce design patterns with clear business and technical rationale.
- Maintain lightweight but essential project documentation.
- Lead and mentor developers, helping unblock and guide team members.
- Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bring a consulting mindset-challenging assumptions, proposing improvements, and pushing the product and SDLC forward.
Requirements
Do you have experience in TypeScript?, * Excellent English for daily communication.
- Strong consulting skills-able to explain reasoning, guide non-technical stakeholders, and advocate for improvements.
- Comfortable working with teams in U.S. time zones (workday overlap until ~6-7 pm CET; best suited for late starters).
- Deep understanding of:
- Software architecture
- Enterprise UX patterns
- Design patterns and maintainable system design
Front-End Expertise
- Angular (core framework)
- React and/or Next.js
- Micro-frontend development (Webpack Module Federation)
- TypeScript
- RxJS and Signals
- State management tools such as: Redux, Zustand, NGXS or others
- UI & Styling: Tailwind CSS
- SCSS
- Material Design
- Server-Side Rendering (SSR)
- Swagger client generation
- GraphQL usage and client-side integration
Architecture & Technical Skills
- Proven experience designing front-end architecture for large, modular enterprise systems
- Ability to evaluate system impact, integration complexity, and risk
- Past experience working with systems using:
- REST
- GraphQL
- Event-driven messaging / SignalR
Nice to Have
- Azure DevOps
- GitHub
- CI/CD implementation experience
- Azure Cloud familiarity
- Security understanding (OWASP, XSS, CSRF, authentication flows)
- Experience with document/formatting tools like Aspose or CKEditor
