Job description

  • Lead on the creation and shaping of a new digital service, improving the delivery and accessibility of the organisation's content offering advice to the public.
  • Continually review the organisation's content to meet the needs of users and influence decision makers to make key user journey improvements.
  • Collaborate with project partners on the wider website redevelopment project, taking ownership of the content workstream.
  • Provide strategic advice to senior leaders on the creation and management of content, overseeing content life-cycles and advising on improving processes.

Requirements

  • Educated to degree standard or with equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrable experience of success working in a lead or senior content designer role, ideally for public sector audiences.
  • Experience of implementing CMS for websites and of creating high-quality content, with a focus on using data to improve user experience.
  • Outstanding writing and interpersonal skills, with strong knowledge of content design principles.
  • IT proficiency, including the use of MS Office and Google Analytics.
  • Attentive to detail.
