Job description

We are looking for professional, qualified and enthusiastic candidates to take up a full-time position of an IT Systems Administrator to provide daily technical support in our Munich/Planegg office.

The scope of responsibilities will include:

  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing desktop computer systems and peripheral equipment problems
  • IT support operations, including but not limited to receiving and tracking user requests, assigning priority and responsible persons, resolving requests and users' notification
  • Installation, configuration, maintenance and upgrades of desktop computer systems and peripherals (e.g., network cards, printers, modems, mice, add-in boards, copiers, etc.)
  • Asset management of desktop computer systems (hardware and software inventories, licensing, systems decommissioning, etc.)
  • Documentation of system problems and resolutions
  • Providing basic IT training to PSI staff

Requirements

Do you have experience in Computer networking?, * College Degree preferably in Computer Science or a related field

  • At least 2+ years of experience in IT
  • Full working proficiency in English and German
  • Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) training is a plus
  • Related experience in systems and network administration
  • Knowledge of basic systems administration tools and processes
  • Ability to plan, multitask and work in a dynamic team environment
  • Advanced communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
