Job description
- Support SIMATIC AX Logic Control Engineering together with TIA Portal
- Support customers to develop and implement solutions based on the IT-like engineering portfolio
- Provide after-sales support for customers worldwide
- Provide technical advice to the Siemens sales force during the entire sales journey
- Realize reusable applications and concepts, like CI workflows and testing routines
- Support knowledge transfer through creating and presenting technical presentations
- Support further development of the tools by evaluating requirements and opportunities
- Present the topic to customers in presentations and workshops
- Align with various other organizations like Product Management, Marketing and Sales
Requirements
Do you have experience in Visual Studio?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, The Technical Consultant will be responsible for developing and implementing automation concepts and solutions, while providing expert support to customers and the Siemens sales organization. The ideal candidate brings solid technical experience in industrial automation alongside strong IT engineering skills, particularly with Visual Studio Code. Excellent communication, execution capabilities, organizational skills, and business acumen are essential to succeed in this role., * Bachelor's degree in computer science or electrical/computer/mechanical engineering
- Experience in software design and development based on Visual Studio Code
- Extensive knowledge in .Net and #C programming. Knowledge in additional programming languages.
- Experience in software testing, test driven development, Clean Code, pair programming, continuous integration and continuous delivery
- Basic knowledge in TIA Portal and STEP 7 is very beneficial
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
- Prior Siemens automation experience is a huge plus
