Senior Database Administrator

• Administer, optimize, and maintain IBM DB2 and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Implement replication, clustering, and failover strategies to ensure high availability and data integrity.
• Perform database performance tuning using tools such as Dynatrace and Guardium.
• Develop automation scripts using Shell, Python, or PowerShell to improve efficiency.
• Conduct capacity planning, enforce database security, and manage encryption and auditing processes., * Opportunities to work on enterprise-level database architectures across diverse platforms (DB2, SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle EBS).

• 8+ years of total DBA experience, including at least 5 years working specifically with IBM DB2 and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong hands-on expertise in DB2 (LUW/zOS) administration, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Solid experience managing SQL Server administration in enterprise environments.
• Proficiency in replication technologies, clustering, and failover mechanisms.
• Working knowledge of performance monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Guardium) and backup/recovery tools.
• Scripting experience in Shell, Python, or PowerShell.
• Preferred certifications: IBM Certified Database Administrator - DB2 and Microsoft Certified Azure Database Administrator Associate
