Platform Engineer

As a Senior Platform Engineer, you'll play a critical role in evolving the infrastructure behind our SaaS platform. You'll design and maintain secure, scalable systems while enabling product teams through automation, CI/CD improvements, and self-service tooling. Your work will accelerate development, reduce toil and raise reliability standards across the organization.

Since this is a hybrid position, we are looking for someone who is located in The Netherlands.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and manage secure, scalable infrastructure (GCP, K8s)
• Improve CI/CD pipelines to increase deployment speed and reliability
• Enhance observability with effective monitoring, alerting, and logging
• Reduce technical debt through automation and infrastructure refactoring
• Drive developer enablement via tooling, documentation, and support
• Advocate for platform best practices across security, performance, and reliability
• Support incident response and continuous platform hardening

• Strong experience with cloud infrastructure, containerization, and CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Terraform, GitOps)
• Solid grasp of SRE practices, platform architecture, and DevEx principle
• A collaborative, communicative approach to working with development teams
• A pragmatic mindset focused on scalable, maintainable solutions
• Bonus: scripting skills (Bash, Python, Go), internal tooling development, or observability stack experience

• Salary range: €60,000-€84,000 (excluding holiday pay)
