Java Software Engineer

We are looking to recruit for a number of Senior Java Software Engineers to support a growing number of projects, the ideal candidate will have at least Five years Java Spring Boot, AWS/Azure, CI/CD and JavaScript experience, security clearance would be an advantage but is not essential but you do need to be eligible.

You'll be part of a high-performing engineering team that:

• Designs and delivers scalable, resilient systems using Java (Spring Boot) on the backend and React/TypeScript on the frontend.
• Implements modern engineering practices - CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, automated testing, and microservices architecture.
• Works in secure, cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) supporting critical public sector platforms.
• Experiments with Vercel AI, LangChain, and other emerging tools to push the boundaries of intelligent applications.

• Solid commercial experience in Java and Spring Boot (Microservices and APIs).
• Strong front-end development with JavaScript/TypeScript (React preferred).
• Practical knowledge of Git, CI/CD, and modern DevOps pipelines.
• Bonus: experience with Government Digital Service (GDS) projects or other secure delivery environments.

Package: Up to £70k + bonus DOE, plus benefits and clear progression paths.
