Job description

We are looking for an Onsite IT Support Technician to provide 1st and 2nd line deskside support at our client's Grantham headquarters. You will be the go-to person for resolving hardware and software issues, ensuring smooth IT operations for their staff and working to defined service levels., * Provide onsite support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Windows 11, Office 365, and network connectivity.
  • Manage Active Directory and Azure AD tasks (password resets, account setups).
  • Perform hardware repairs, imaging, and device builds.
  • Support ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
  • Collaborate with the wider IT team to maintain service levels and deliver projects., * Can you travel within an hour to client site (Grantham NG31 6LL)?
  • The client requirement is for an Onsite Engineer, can you commit to this role?
  • Do you have: Strong Knowledge of Windows OS,Office 365,Basic Networking TCP/IP,Active Directory & Azure AD working knowledge?

Requirements

  • 1-2 years' experience in deskside or onsite IT support.
  • A strong knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365, and basic networking (TCP/IP).
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and Azure AD.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting and imaging.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Desirable

  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft MCP.
  • Experience of working with ITIL frameworks.
  • Knowledge of endpoint security tools (e.g., Defender ATP)., * Deskside or Onsite IT Support: 1 year (required)
