Job description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated .NET Developer to join our remote engineering team in the UK. This role is open to professionals at all levels-from fresh graduates to senior developers. You will work on designing, developing, and maintaining modern, scalable applications using the Microsoft .NET ecosystem., * Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using .NET / .NET Core and C#.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, QA engineers, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-structured code following industry best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and production defects.
- Assist in architectural planning and design of new or existing systems.
Requirements
Do you have experience in xUnit?, Required Skills & QualificationsEssential (for all experience levels):
- Proficiency in C# and .NET / .NET Core frameworks.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming and SOLID principles.
- Experience with databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Knowledge of API development and integration.
- Familiarity with Git and version control best practices.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, or microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP also considered).
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working with distributed systems or messaging queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus).
- Background in automated testing (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest).
- Front-end experience with Angular, React, or Blazor (optional but beneficial).
- Must have legal eligibility to work in the UK (Valid Visa).
