Job description
- Provide 2nd line IT application support to hospital staff and users.
- Troubleshoot incidents and manage problems in line with SLAs.
- Support PAS and other systems, including testing and documentation.
- Assist with training delivery and create user documentation.
- Conduct functional testing for new or upgraded systems.
- Advocate best practice in Information Security.
- Collaborate with the Service Desk and wider IT team to resolve issues.
- Occasionally work out-of-hours and weekends as required., Claire Mansfield - Resourcing Officer will then be in touch to discuss further.

Requirements
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience in IT service desk or application support environment.
- Knowledge of business software support and test script execution.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- ITIL qualifications and familiarity with Hornbill Service Manager (desirable).
- Healthcare industry experience (advantageous).
- Self-starter with ability to work independently and prioritise workload.
Benefits & conditions
This is a full time, fixed term contract role working a 7.5 hour day between 8am and 6pm , Monday to Friday. Including working one Saturday in four on a rotation basis with a day back in lieu.
Please note - you must live within daily commutable distance of the hospital as the role is required to work on site. If you are on a working visa please note you must have at least one year remaining as this is a permanent position. Why Join Us?
