Job description
An NHS Trust in the East of England is seeking a senior member of its Estates and Facilities team to provide expert management, leadership, and technical oversight. This is a high-impact role focused on ensuring the effective development, management, and operation of Estates and Facilities services.
You will take responsibility for maintaining high-quality data and information, developing policies, and ensuring compliance across all areas of the Building Engineering Maintenance (BEM) department. Your expertise in Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) will be key to supporting and improving operational systems., * Serve as the primary support for systems used by the Building Engineering Maintenance team, including the CAFM system (Concept).
- Ensure accurate recording of data to enable the safe, efficient, and effective management of BEM tasks, workflows, and workforce.
- Oversee and manage processes and information systems related to the asset collection programme.
- Develop and implement departmental policies, procedures, and safe systems of work.
- Act as the Trust's technical and managerial lead for systems and services within your remit.
Requirements
- Significant experience in technical or Estates management roles.
- Proven ability in change management.
- Strong knowledge of CAFM data and systems.
- Experience managing a team, including team development, people management, training, and appraisals.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
