I am partnering with a highly respected, technology-driven organisation in Knutsford that is continuing to invest in its infrastructure and cloud capabilities. They are looking for a technically strong, proactive Infrastructure Technical Analyst who enjoys working on projects, improving systems and taking ownership of technical initiatives.
This role goes far beyond traditional IT support, you'll be involved in true end-to-end infrastructure work, project delivery, system improvements and hands-on engineering across on-prem and cloud environments. It's ideal for someone with solid infrastructure experience who wants to broaden their technical scope and contribute meaningfully to key technology initiatives.
About The Role: You will help deliver infrastructure projects, strengthen security and configuration standards, and ensure stable, modern systems across the organisation. You'll also act as an escalation point for more complex issues and collaborate closely with DevOps, Security and Application teams., * Enhancing on-prem infrastructure and Microsoft 365 environments
- Working with Entra ID and identity-based security solutions
- Supporting large-scale infrastructure initiatives such as email migrations and centralisation projects
- Managing access controls across on-prem and cloud platforms
- Evaluating and improving infrastructure configuration and best practices
- Producing clear and accurate technical documentation
- Supporting software deployments and integrations in hybrid environments
- Performing system upgrades, patches and maintenance
- Working closely with vendors and service providers
- Supporting IT security through proactive monitoring and incident response, * Work with a global, forward-thinking organisation investing heavily in its technology

Requirements
You'll bring a strong infrastructure background and the ability to work confidently across a varied and complex environment., * Experience in an infrastructure or technical analyst role
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, Microsoft 365 and Entra ID
- Experience working with cloud-based solutions
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills
- Self-driven, able to work independently and take ownership of tasks
Desirable:
- Experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, hybrid)
- Knowledge of storage and backup technologies
- Understanding of IT security principles and best practices
