DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps engineer, you'll design, build, and maintain the infrastructure that powers our products. You'll play a key role in shaping our delivery pipelines, ensuring system reliability, and driving automation across our platform. You'll collaborate closely with developers to streamline deployments, optimize performance, and strengthen security. You'll contribute to a resilient infrastructure with a focus on scalability, observability, and best engineering practices., You will work directly with our CTO and collaborate closely with backend and mobile engineers to own the infrastructure that powers Peaks. You take responsibility for designing, building, and maintaining our cloud architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring systems. You drive automation and reliability across our platform, ensuring deployments are smooth and systems are secure, scalable, and resilient. • Solid understanding of cloud architectures, infrastructure as code, and engineering best practices
• Deep expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and strong skills with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and observability tools
• Are a result-driven professional who can deliver reliable systems while experimenting with new technologies
• Have a strong awareness of security and compliance
• Take ownership of tasks end-to-end, from design to production
• Have strong communicative skills to interact with other internal teams and work directly with the CTO
• Live or plan to live in the Netherlands (Peaks is located in the heart of Amsterdam)
