Job description
We're looking for an Application Support Analyst to join us in Scunthorpe, as part of our wider Digital technology & data team. You'll assist with the maintenance and improvement of the tier 1 systems we use across Co-op Wholesale, working closely with colleagues to understand their needs and translating them into actionable changes.
You'll manage the support backlog and our improvements 'to do' list, making sure these are prioritised and delivered in line with business needs. From analysing and understanding existing business processes and taking proposals to our Change Advisory Board to collaborating with third parties, testing, and deployment teams - no two days are the same. You'll be part of a small, collaborative team of Support Analysts and other IT colleagues, helping to make sure user requests and service desk tickets are handled successfully.

What you'll do
- Provide third-line support for tier 1 and other Wholesale systems, including data queries and issue resolution
- Manage service tickets, change requests, and service improvements
- Analyse current business processes to understand issues and support enhancements
- Prioritise and deliver improvements in line with business needs
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and internal teams to deliver system changes
- Build positive relationships with partners to understand their needs
- Ensure service management standards are met, and systems remain reliable
Requirements
- Experience working in an IT environment
- Familiarity with web-based internet systems
- Experience in analysing business processes
- Solid SQL knowledge
- Good Microsoft Office skills
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
