Job description

As the Technical Solution Architect you will be responsible for the delivering complex and bespoke Unified Communication, Contact Centre, WAN, LAN and Cyber solutions. In addition, you will provide detailed customer designs and technical solution ownership to the businesses in high profile accounts through the utilisation of specialist technical expertise. You will also:

  • Be the owner of the Solution Integration statement of work which translates the high-level design and requirements into detailed technical deliverables, identifying the risks, assumptions, Issues and dependencies for submission into the Programme risk register.
  • Operate the Solution Integration governance processes and to hold internal and external technical teams to account.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and be accountable for the customer solution design engagement during post-sales solution delivery, participating and often leading detailed design and system integration workshops. The output of which is to capture detailed customer technical requirements to determine the optimum solution design for their business to achieve maximum benefit from Vodafone products.
  • Accountable for producing Vodafone Design statement of work, to include 3rd party deliverables and then complete the detailed solution design in accordance with Vodafone Design methodology ensuring compliance of 3rd party design deliverables., We are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and all offers of employment for this role are subject to background checks, including criminal (DBS) and financial checks to meet the regulators standards.

Requirements

Do you have experience in TOGAF?, * Experience of designing in one or more core areas of UC, Contact Centre and LAN/WAN & Cyber related technologies.

  • Significant experience of fixed product market, in depth understanding of complex customer solutions including UC, Contact Centre and LAN/WAN, SD-WAN solutions related technologies.
  • Experienced being a Solution Owner/ champion.
  • Proven track record for delivery of large scale, complex projects delivering IT/Telco customer solutions; demonstrable leadership skills and organisational experience.
  • High standard of stakeholder management, written & verbal communication skills.
  • Enterprise Architecture Framework (e.g., TOGAF) knowledge.
