Requirements
Do you have experience in VPN?, We're seeking a 2nd Line IT Support Field Engineer who thrives on solving challenging issues, independently researching solutions, and drawing on the rest of our team when needed. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a dynamic MSP environment and delivering high-quality, client-focused support both remotely and on-site.
What You'll Bring
- Strong problem-solving instincts with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve advanced issues independently, leveraging internal resources when needed
- Comfortable researching unknown problems, exploring documentation, and developing reliable solutions
- Confident working directly with business clients, providing clear updates and maintaining professional rapport
- Self-motivated and organised with a proactive approach to workload management
Technical Skills You'll Use
- Full administration of Office 365 tenants, including Exchange, SharePoint, and user provisioning
- Working knowledge of Windows Server (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file sharing, domain management)
- Hands-on remote desktop support for printers, email, and connectivity issues
- Familiarity with VPNs, RDP setups, and remote access principles
- Experience with networking fundamentals: IP addressing, DNS, router configuration, firewall rules, wireless settings, and basic cabling
- A good understanding and ability to configure workflows and data shares such as scan-to-email, SMB share's and SharePoint synchronisation
- Hardware servicing experience (e.g. RAM, storage drives, power supplies), * You must already be living in South Wales or surrounding area.
- You need to have experience of working within a UK MSP / IT Support Provider
Experience:
- Office 365 Tenant Administration: 2 years (preferred)
- Microsoft Windows Server: 2 years (preferred)
