Purpose: The goal of the Data Scientist is to improve accuracy and efficiency of data analysis through the research and implementation of data-driven algorithms and methodologies. Responsibilities Researches and implements prototypes for improving data analysis accuracy and/or efficiency Tests and performs statistical analysis to evaluate developed solutions Ensures quality of the developed prototypes by software testing and/or code reviews Writes documentation of developed solutions and ensures knowledge transfer Keeps up to date with development practices in the

industry Supports daily business with short-notice feasibility studies or data fixes Other duties as assigned Qualification and work experience A bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Natural Sciences or Mathematics is required A master's degree in computer science, Engineering, Natural Sciences or Mathematics is preferred A PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Natural Sciences or Mathematics is preferred 2 years of work experience in similar roles Experience working contributing to research and/or data science projects Advanced knowledge on statistical analysis and high abstraction and synthesis level Experience in scientific programming and data analysis Knowledge in Data Science and Machine Learning (feature engineering, supervisors and unsupervised learning) Experience communicating with experts and non-experts on scientific problems and results Advanced programming skills in python Skillset Must be proficient in spoken and written English, local language is a plus Excellent problem-solving skills and a curious mindset Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.
