Job description
- Design, assemble, and test custom PCB hardware for control and sensing.
- Develop and maintain firmware (C/C++) for embedded microcontrollers.
- Manage I²C, UART, and USB communication between control boards and host PCs.
- Integrate inputs such as buttons, encoders, displays, and environmental sensors.
- Design and verify power management and backup systems.
- Conduct prototype bring-up, validation testing, and fault analysis.
- Produce schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Work closely with software engineers to ensure accurate telemetry and device control.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Systems engineering?, * Degree/HND in Electronics, Electrical, or Embedded Systems Engineering.
- Experience with sensor integration and communication protocols (I²C, SPI, UART).
- Competence in PCB design software (KiCad, Altium, or Eagle).
- Solid experience with firmware development in C/C++.
- Practical knowledge of test equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, PSU).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with ESP32 or similar microcontrollers.
- Experience with environmental and motion sensors.
- Understanding of thermal and power management design.
- Previous experience in kiosk, IoT, or public infrastructure systems.
