Head of Network Services & IT

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Network Services and IT Support Manager to join Burnley College. The successful postholder will be joining a growing organisation that truly values its people and which has been commended for the exceptional experience and future opportunities it provides to its learners.

Our Network Services and IT Support Manager will plan, lead and manage the development of the Network Services and IT functions and develop polices and procedures for the day-to-day administration of infrastructure and IT processes. The successful candidate will plan and manage delegated College staffing, revenue and capital budgets as efficiently and effectively as possible and within agreed strategies

You will ideally possess a degree or equivalent level qualification and have an understanding of relevant data protection and legislation and requirements. You will also have significant knowledge and experience of working as an IT Manager or relevant experience and the successful planning and implementation of whole organisation IT systems and projects. Ideally you will have experience of administration of cloud-based and third-party network services and of working in the Further Education sector, however this is not essential.

The salary for this post is up to £63,381
