Job description
- Design, develop, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Optimize database performance, including indexing, query tuning, and troubleshooting slow queries.
- Build, maintain, and automate ETL processes using SSIS or other data pipeline tools.
- Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and database objects for reporting and analytics.
- Collaborate with analysts and business teams to understand data requirements and deliver reliable solutions.
- Support application teams with SQL integrations and backend database logic.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across databases.
- Monitor production databases and resolve performance or reliability issues.
- Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and cloud-based database transitions.
- Document database structures, processes, and best practices.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Tableau?, * 3-12 years of professional experience as a SQL Developer or Database Developer.
- Strong proficiency in SQL Server / T-SQL (or similar RDBMS such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Hands-on experience with:
- Complex stored procedures
- Views, functions, triggers
- Indexing, query optimization, performance tuning
- Experience developing and supporting ETL processes (SSIS, Azure Data Factory, or similar).
- Strong understanding of relational database design, normalization, and data modelling.
- Experience with reporting tools (SSRS, Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage.
- Ability to troubleshoot data issues and provide timely solutions.
- Comfortable working in Agile or collaborative team environments.
