Argenta is seeking a Global Head of IT, responsible for leading our global technology function, shaping our digital future, and ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of systems that support our integrated CRO/CDMO network.
This role delivers strategic leadership across enterprise systems, cyber security, digital strategy, data integrity, and global infrastructure - enabling our teams to work smarter, faster, and more effectively as we grow.
You will partner across RD&I, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, and Commercial teams to drive digital adoption, improve automation, and ensure seamless connectivity across our global sites. You will lead a high-performing IT team and ensure excellent service delivery while maintaining compliance with GxP, data integrity, and security requirements.
This position plays a critical role in supporting Argenta's growth trajectory, operational excellence, and integrated technology ecosystem., * Lead the development and execution of the global IT strategy, roadmap, and team capability while partnering effectively across all business units.
- Drive enterprise-wide digital enablement through strong system and data integration, automation, and adoption of AI and modern technology solutions.
- Oversee implementation, optimisation, and governance of core business systems and infrastructure, ensuring resilience and effective incident management.
- Deliver operational excellence by meeting SLAs/SLOs, improving end-user experience, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Maintain a strong cyber security, information security, and IT risk management framework with ongoing testing, mitigation, and continuous improvement.
- Manage budgets, vendors, compliance (including GxP and data integrity), and investment business cases to maximise value and safeguard quality.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Organizational skills?, * Degree in Information Technology (or related field) with ITIL and Prince2/Agile certifications; vendor and cyber security certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, CISSP/CISM) preferred.
- Extensive experience designing, implementing, and governing enterprise IT systems, processes, and policies across complex environments.
- Proven ability to resolve business-critical technology issues and lead multi-year technology programs with full technical delivery accountability.
- Strong leadership capability with experience coaching and developing high-performing IT teams.
- Highly collaborative and influential, with strong judgement, problem-solving skills, and the ability to engage senior stakeholders globally.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organisational skills, with a track record of delivering innovative, technology-enabled business solutions.
- Strong business partnering experience, working with operating and support functions to drive efficiency, automation, and increasing adoption of AI-enabled solutions.
