BI Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Specialist to join our Business Intelligence Centre and become the primary owner of our enterprise Power BI environment. You will be instrumental in building and maintaning the company's centralized BI platform, semantic models, data pipelines, and suite of dashboards supporting differents departments., * Collaborate closely with business teams to understand their reporting needs, translate them into technical requirements, and deliver impactful dashboards and insights.

• Own the end-to-end development lifecycle of Power BI solutions: data modelling, DAX measures, semantic models, optimization, visualization, and deployment.
• Maintain and evolve the central enterprise Power BI dataset, ensuring consistency, performance, governance, and documentation.
• Work with multiple data sources (CRM, DMS, ERP, Marketing platforms, finance systems, operational systems) to design robust data models and ensure data quality.
• Manage scheduled refresh, optimize gateway performance, ensure reliability of data ingestion, and proactively resolve BI-related incidents.
• Define and enforce BI best practices, including naming conventions, data governance standards, documentation, version control, and dashboard design guidelines.
• Support ad-hoc analysis and provide actionable insights to Sales, Marketing, Aftersales, and senior leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement opportunities in automation, data transformation, and system integration in collaboration with the IT team.
• Collaborate with external vendors and consultants to accelerate development where needed.

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, or Data Analytics roles.
• Proven expertise developing enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards, including advanced DAX, star-schema modelling, row-level security, and performance optimization.
• Strong experience in data modelling and data architecture (fact/dimension models, relationships, normalization).
• Practical experience connecting Power BI to multiple heterogeneous sources (APIs, SQL, CRM/Dynamics, DMS, Excel/CSV pipelines, cloud services).
• Ability to translate ambiguous business needs into clear analytical solutions and deliver high-quality dashboards under deadlines.
• Strong analytical mindset, excellent attention to detail, and a methodical approach to data quality and governance.
• Proactive, hands-on, and capable of owning deliverables end-to-end with minimal supervision.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is essential.
• Experience in the automotive industry (OEM, dealership, mobility, or B2C sales environment) is a strong plus but not required.
• Experience with SQL, Python, or ETL tools is desirable.
