Job description
We're looking for an IT Systems Engineer who enjoys problem-solving and collaborating to provide first, second, and third line support for Defence IT systems.
What you'll do:
- Support and maintain a virtual server environment (VMware)
- Provide assistance for Windows 10 and Windows Server 2012/2016 platforms
- Maintain VTC equipment and ensure smooth operation
- Administer Active Directory
- Install and configure PCs, servers, printers, and peripherals
- Diagnose and resolve LAN and WAN issues
- Log and escalate faults and service requests
- Maintain crypto equipment (including firmware loading
This role is on-site due to system classification. Our team works flexibly to ensure coverage during working hours, and there are no out-of-hours service level agreements for this system.
Requirements
- Experience working within the UK MOD or similar secure environments
- Experience supporting Defence IT systems
