Desirable skills include Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP - Enterprise, Wireless, or Security) and experience in ITIL-based environments with ticketing systems; knowledge of scripting or network automation tools such as Python or Ansible. Experience * 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer in enterprise environments. * Proven experience with Cisco networking technologies, including routers, switches, wireless controllers, and access points. * Solid knowledge and practical application of network protocols such as BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, ACLs, and NAT. * Demonstrated experience with SD-WAN solutions, preferably Cisco Viptela or Meraki, including deployment and support in multi-site architectures. * Practical experience in designing, configuring, and troubleshooting enterprise WiFi networks, especially with Cisco wireless solutions. * Experience using network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark). * Previous work in English-speaking technical environments, with fluent written and spoken English (B2 level or above). * Comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision, while maintaining high standards of documentation and communication. Job Responsibilities * Design, deploy, and maintain Cisco SD-WAN solutions (Viptela or Meraki) across multi-site enterprise environments. * Manage and optimize LAN and WiFi networks, ensuring stability, performance, and scalability. * Configure and support Cisco network devices, including routers, switches, wireless controllers, and access points. * Continuously monitor network performance, availability, and reliability using appropriate tools. * Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents and issues, escalating when necessary to ensure minimal downtime. * Maintain detailed and up-to-date network documentation, including configurations, diagrams, and standard operating procedures. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams (security, infrastructure, operations) to ensure alignment with organizational goals and technical standards. * Participate in network planning and improvement initiatives, providing input based on best practices and emerging technologies. * Ensure compliance with security policies, technical standards, and change management processes. * Communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken, in a remote, international working environment. * 100% remote work with flexible work arrangements (on-site presence required only during onboarding and occasionally every 2 months). * International work environment with full immersion in English-speaking, cross-functional teams. * Opportunity to work with cutting-edge Cisco technologies (SD-WAN, LAN, WiFi) in enterprise-level networks. * Access to ongoing technical learning and certifications support (Cisco, automation tools, etc.). * Collaboration with experienced professionals. * Exposure to well-structured IT processes (e.g., ITIL environments, documentation standards). * Potential to grow skills in automation and scripting (Python, Ansible - desirable but not mandatory). * Stable long-term position with professional development opportunities. * Relocation to Barcelona, Spain. * PAC. * Sponsored Visa.
