Job description

As a Solution Architect SAP Pur/IM/WM/SRM, you will design and implement end-to-end SAP solutions for procurement, inventory management, warehouse management, and supplier relationship management processes across the European and US regions.

You will ensure that SAP configurations meet regional and global business requirements, regulatory standards, and compliance frameworks. This role is highly collaborative, requiring close engagement with business stakeholders, IT, and suppliers, while driving optimization and innovation in procurement and logistics operations., * Design and implement SAP-based solutions for procurement, inventory, and warehouse management processes.

  • Ensure seamless integration with related modules such as SD, MM, and FI/CO.
  • Define strategies for Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and drive its integration with SAP core systems.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders in Europe and the US to capture requirements and support project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with regional tax, trade, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead validation efforts for processes involving inventory and supplier engagements, especially in pharma-specific contexts.
  • Oversee technical implementation of procurement portals and interfaces with external suppliers.
  • Identify and implement system optimizations for streamlined procurement and logistics operations.
  • Contribute to large transformation programs as subject matter expert in SAP Pur/IM/WM/SRM when assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Informatics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of process knowledge in procurement, inventory, and warehouse management.
  • At least 6 years of system knowledge in SAP Pur, IM, WM, and SRM modules.
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA migration strategies is an advantage.
  • Experience with third-party integrations for supplier management.
  • Proven experience working in both EU and US business environments.
  • Deep understanding of validation and compliance in regulated industries.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to design efficient processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with political and cultural awareness.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
