Job description

About the Role : The B2C Analytics team develops analytics solutions to support data-driven decision-making. We enable teams to measure performance, identify risks and opportunities, and add value through data analysis.

This position mainly supports our Consumer business (WSJ, Barron's, MarketWatch), with potential exposure to advertising and professional information sectors. The ideal candidate has experience in creating datasets, dashboards, and data solutions that generate insights. The role reports to the Senior Manager, B2C Analytics.

You Will :

Develop Stakeholder Partnerships

  • Build strong relationships with Product, Marketing, Newsroom, Finance, Data Collection, Data Engineering, and other B2C teams.

Manage data project roadmaps aligned with business priorities.

Understand B2C Data

  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of B2C data sources.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and collection teams to gather, clean, and organize data.

Conduct Analysis, Create Dashboards, Improve Processes & Ensure Quality

  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Create reports and dashboards using visualization tools like Tableau and Looker Studio.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline data and reporting processes.
  • Ensure data and report accuracy and consistency.

Requirements

  • Team-oriented, collaborative, eager to learn and help others.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and manage projects from start to finish.
  • Detail-oriented, committed to quality and accuracy.
  • Degree or equivalent in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.
  • Experience with large datasets, SQL, Excel/Sheets, and familiarity with Python/R and Github is preferred.
  • Experience with web analytics tools (Google Analytics 4, Adobe Analytics) and data visualization (Tableau, Looker) is a plus.
